After serving in an interim role, Dwayne Walker has been named the permanent vice president for enrollment management at Delaware Valley University.

“Dwayne has served with distinction as the interim vice president since February, and after reviewing the division and its important role in fostering the University’s continued success, I am confident that he will help guide us toward our bright future,” said DelVal President Dr. Maria Gallo. “He has brought new energy and vision to the division and is well respected by his peers and colleagues.”

Walker joined DelVal’s Admission team in 2012, serving most recently as associate vice president of enrollment management and director of admission. Before joining DelVal, Walker was director of admission for Alvernia University. He brings 17 years of experience in higher education to the position.

“I am excited to be able to serve the University in this role,” said Walker. “I look forward to continuing to work with the dedicated staff of the enrollment division and the entire campus community in sharing the many benefits of Delaware Valley University as we enroll and graduate talented and diverse students.”

As vice president for enrollment management, Walker will continue to guide the University’s student recruitment efforts.

Walker earned both his bachelor’s in business administration and his MBA from Alvernia University.
