Gregory Krug ’77, president of Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc., will be the speaker at Delaware Valley University’s Watson Executive-in-Residence (WEIR) program. Krug will be presenting a lecture entitled, “Circle of Success,” Thursday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. in the Life Sciences Building auditorium on DelVal’s main campus. The program is open to DelVal students and alumni.

Krug earned a B.S. in animal science from DelVal. He has more than 25 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields.  Krug founded Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc. and has guided the company’s growth and development since its inception, expanding the company to six sites throughout Pennsylvania.

The company employs personnel with a myriad of corporate and educational experience including Ph.D. scientists, veterinarians, and vocational technical students. Managers frequently mentor startup life sciences companies. Krug works with organizations such as SCORE and others in need of his support. He is involved in advisory committees for several educational institutions, including DelVal.

The Watson Executive-in-Residence speaker series was founded by Thomas Watson '57, a DelVal alumnus who started out in pharmaceutical sales and realized he was passionate about advertising. He became a founder of Omnicom, one of the world's largest advertising firms. Watson has a passion for education and started an in-house program at his company to provide MBA-level training for employees. As part of the series, he awards a scholarship to a student, who introduces the visiting speaker.
