Delaware Valley College Adjunct Professor John Sanders was recognized as an Educator of Distinction by the National Society of High School Scholars (NHSS) on Aug. 17 at Georgetown University's Conference Center in Washington, D.C.  Claes Nobel, a senior member of the famous Nobel Prize family, is a co-founder of NSHSS, and presented awards to Sanders.  Approximately 1,500 people came from all over the world to participate in the event.

NSHSS recognizes academic excellence and encourages members to apply their unique talents, visions and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. The vision of NSHSS is to continually grow as a dynamic international organization and to connect members with meaningful content, resources and opportunities to help build on academic success and to have a positive impact on the global community.

Sanders teaches in the business and information technology departments at DelVal.
