DelVal announces new Board officers

Delaware Valley University is pleased to announce that its Board of Trustees elected the following new officers at its annual fall meeting this month.

"Delaware Valley University is grateful to the previous officers for their time and dedication," said DelVal President Dr. Maria Gallo. "We are pleased to announce these new officers and look forward to seeing the impact they will have on the University. The new officers will bring valuable knowledge and experience to the Board as we seek to further enhance the student experience at Delaware Valley University."

Majid Alsayegh, chair

Majid Alsayegh is founder and principal of Alta Management, LLC, which provides project management services and owner’s representation services to clients in both the public and private sectors. He also is an active member of the Philadelphia cultural community, and serves on the boards of the Dialogue Institute, Intercultural Journeys, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, and the Pyramid Society.

Chip Krauskopf, vice chair

Joseph “Chip” Krauskopf has spent more than 30 years developing and selling industry-leading products for the computing, communications and renewable energy fields. He now serves as the vice president for business development for Aditazz, a company dedicated to revolutionizing the A/E/C industry through the use of advanced technology. Krauskopf is also the fourth generation of his family to support DelVal, which began with the founder, Rabbi Joseph Krauskopf.

Andrew Dougherty, treasurer

Andrew Dougherty '00 is managing director and head of alternative and institutional solutions at BNP Paribas Securities Services. In this role, he is responsible for managing the group’s North American hedge fund administration platform and related business lines. He also has served as the alumni representative to the board since 2014.

Jonathan Mandell, secretary

Jonathan Mandell is a mosaic artist; his mosaics are on permanent display at the National Constitution Center, Citizens Bank Park, the McGraw Hill Company, the Nemours DuPont Hospital and the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, to name a few. He also has served as an adjunct professor at Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts. Mandell is also the third generation of his family to support DelVal.
