Danielle Pedrotty, administrative director of Delaware Valley University’s graduate programs in criminal justice and healthcare administration, has been named to the board of the Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund.

The Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to the education of the children of fallen heroes.

The organization has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to date to help fund educational opportunities for children of police officers, firefighters, rescue squads, correctional officers and emergency service personnel who were killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty.

Pedrotty became involved with the organization through Bucks County Director of Law Enforcement Training Rich Vona. Vona is a DelVal continuing and professional studies student who is currently pursuing his master’s in criminal justice through the University.

“It will be an honor to serve on this board and to bring another educational connection to the foundation supporting these amazing scholarship opportunities,” said Pedrotty. “I am hopeful that my relationships with the board members and those we serve will help to enhance our presence in the community and the impact we are able to have on our service members and their families.”
