CBS 3 features DelVal’s campus in 'Dream Drives'
Delaware Valley University’s campus was chosen as a destination for CBS 3’s “Dream Drives.” “Dream Drives,” is a regular series where CBS 3 takes viewers to explore interesting places in the area. The Market at DelVal and DelVal’s farms are included in the story.
Market Manager Rob Arcidiacono ’06, a DelVal horticulture alumnus, gave Reporter Meisha Johnson a tour of The Market at DelVal. The Market, a popular community attraction, is a huge farm market located on DelVal’s campus that offers a variety of local products and family-friendly events.
Dr. Sarah Young, chair of animal science, gave “Dream Drives” a tour of South Campus and talked about how students in DelVal’s School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences are gaining hands-on experience on the campus farms. The foals, which DelVal’s equine students help raise as part of a class, also make an appearance in the segment.
