Spring Events you Can’t Miss This Spring

Spring 2015 is an exciting semester at Delaware Valley College, and we can’t wait for you to join us in fun celebrations and educational events to help you succeed. Check out the list of events going on at DelVal’s campus this semester. We know you won’t want to miss any of them! 

Spring 2015 Job and Internship Fair
This year’s spring Job and Internship Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 25 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the James Work Gym and is open to all majors. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to meet with established businesses and reputable employers, including the Elmwood Park Zoo, Glen Mills Schools, Harrah’s Philadelphia and Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County. 

The Job and Internship Fair is a great networking event that will allow you to distribute your résumé and learn about job opportunities available to you. Click here to check out the list of registered companies to see if there are any you’d be interested in working for.

Community-Wide Celebration
It’s an event we’ve all been waiting for and would love to see every student and alumni attend: Delaware Valley College officially becomes Delaware Valley University on Founders’ Day, Wednesday, April 8. The celebration of this exciting milestone in DelVal history will be held on campus and includes a press conference, tours of the Life Sciences Building, a picnic and the Founders’ Day ceremony. Don’t miss this historical event that will be memorialized for years to come!

Writing Your Way to Success Panel
All students and aspiring writers: Join us in the Life Sciences Building 200 and 201 on Thursday, April 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. for the Writing Your Way to Success Panel. During this panel, professionals will discuss how writing can be used to foster success in a variety of different career paths. Whether or not you’re interested in a career in writing, this event is a great opportunity to learn about writing and how to use it to your benefit. 

Casino Night
The Student Programming Board will host Casino Night on Friday, April 10 from 7 to 10 p.m. Held in the Moumgis Auditorium, DelVal transforms into a Las Vegas-type setting, complete with table games such as roulette, craps, Texas hold ’em and blackjack. Take your earnings and exchange chips for raffle tickets to enter the running for one of many wonderful prizes. 

DelVal Jazz Band and String Ensemble Concert
Join us in the Life Sciences Building on Saturday, April 11 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. to see the showcase concert featuring talented musicians from Delaware Valley College. This concert is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Jack Schmidt at
