Nick ’85 and Ann Marie Russo ’85

“We will forever be connected to ‘DVC,’ not only because it is where we began our time together but because it will always be our foundation. We both threw ourselves into the college experience. Nick, no. 34, played varsity football for four years, and I was DelVal's no. 1 fan, involved with everything Aggie-related. Our time at DelVal flew by, cementing meaningful life-long friendships for us.

“We graduated in 1985, were married in 1986, and Nick began a 30-year career in the food industry, taking us all over the U.S. We raised our three children in Pittsburgh, California, Maryland and New Jersey. We settled in Randolph, New Jersey, where I have spent my time raising children, traveling and fundraising for our children’s school.

“We discovered ourselves and each other at DelVal. It was our family’s loving beginning. This year, we were happy to have many DelVal friends join us to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. We are so blessed to be able to continue our relationship with DelVal – getting to know its new leaders, supporting its mission, developing new relationships with alumni from many different years, making our way back to campus to cheer on the Aggies football team, and marveling at how much has changed and improved.”
