Frequently Asked Questions

The Delaware Valley College English Department has set up the Writing Center in Miller Hall to help students with their writing skills. Students can receive help with compositions for all of their courses. The Writing Center will give students help with college level writing skills access to faculty and trained student facilitators training in addition to regular classroom instruction.

Any Delaware Valley College student can use the Writing Center. Any faculty member can refer a student to the Center for help with writing in any course if he/she determines a student would benefit from individualized assistance.

The Writing Center will also offer a series of workshops on the most common grammatical and rhetorical problems. These sessions will be advertised in the Ram Pages, on DVC-TV, and on the announcement board near the entrance to Miller Hall.

Watch for dates, times, and topics relevant to your needs.

The English Department at Delaware Valley College is committed to helping all students acquire solid writing skills; therefore, we encourage students who want to improve their skills to visit the Center regularly.
