The Roth Living Farm Museum holds special events throughout the year such as:

  • Sheep Shearing, June 2, 2007 1 – 3 pm

Spring Activities

  • Kitchen garden construction and planting
  • Milking demonstrations
  • Planting demonstration
  • Antique equipment display
  • Indoor/outdoor games



Summer Activities

  • Cooking demonstrations
  • Butter- and cheese-making
  • Laundry day

Fall Activities

  • Cheese- and butter-making
  • Corn shelling and grinding
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides
  • Indoor/outdoor games
  • Harvesting
  • Preserving

Winter Activities

  • Group tours by appointment

All outdoor programs are weather dependent and are subject to change. Alternative indoor activities are planned for days when it rains. Call for specific details about activities each weekend.
