Question: Who do I call to set up my e-mail?
Answer: Technology Services can be reached at 215-489-2342 or in person in room 1 on the bottom floor of Feldman Hall.
Question: What are residence hall quiet hours?
Answer: Sundays through Thursdays, residence hall quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, residence hall quiet hours begin at 12:00 midnight and end at 8:00 a.m. 24-Hour Quiet Hours take effect at 8:00 a.m. the Sunday prior to Final Exams.
Question: I’m having trouble getting cable reception, who do I contact?
Answer: For any television concerns or troubleshooting, please contact the Media Center at 215-489-2387.
Question: Which buildings will my wireless internet work in?
Answer: Wireless Internet is available in all of the residence halls, Library, Feldman (lobby & 1st floor), Mandell (Lobby & 114 Smart room), the Commuter lounge and the Pub.
Question: I’ve found damaged furniture in my room that needs to be repaired/replaced, who do I contact?
Answer: Please notify your RA so that they may inform your Area Coordinator. Area Coordinators will then address the furniture concerns.
Question: We need toilet paper in our bathroom, who do we tell?
Answer: Please notify your RA if you require more toilet paper. If after 9:00 p.m., please report to the RA on duty that evening.
Question: How do I change my meal plan?
Answer: Contact the Bursar's Office at 215-489-2376. Meal plans can only be changed or adjusted during the add/drop period.
Question: I’ve lost my key. What do I do now?
Answer: Go to the Student Affairs office on the second floor of the Student Center and fill out a lock change form. Please consult the Student Handbook for a key replacement price list.
Question: I’ve lost or damaged my Student ID card. How do I get a replacement and how much will it cost?
Answer: Replacement ID cards are issued from the Security office for a fee of $20 dollars.
Question: My MicroFridge is not functioning properly. Who do I notify?
Answer: Please notify your RA or come to the Student Affairs office and inform your Area Coordinator.
Question: How do I make long distance phone calls from my room phone?
Answer: In order to make long distance telephone calls from your room phone, you need to use a calling card or call collect. Local and on-campus calls are free.
Question: The internet does not seem to be working in my room. How do I activate my internet jack?
Answer: Go to the Technology Services Office in Feldman room 1 and fill out a Network Registration Form to have your internet jack activated. Additional questions can be directed to 215-489-2342.
Question: Who do I contact regarding an emergency?
Answer: Please notify the Security Office at extension 2315 or dial 911. If 911 is dialed by accident, please stay on line to explain.
Question: What should I use to hang things up on my walls?
Answer: We suggest using poster putty or sticky tac when hanging posters in your room. Heavier items should use 3-M command strips. Generally, simply use care when hanging things on the walls in your room, as any damage to the walls or paint will be charged to you when you move out.
Question: Can I stick or hang things from my room door?
Answer: To maintain the appearance and function of building doors we ask that students do not post or stick items on their room doors. Rather, students are encouraged to hang such items on the wall space next to the door.
