Activities & Involvement

Delaware Valley College believes that co-curricular activities are a vital part of the total college experience. For this reason, we provide a wide range of clubs, organizations, activities, events, and community service projects for students to explore new interests outside a typical classroom environment. These activities enable students to connect to the College and fellow students, develop leadership skills, and explore real-world opportunities.

Student clubs and organizations plan and organize a number of activities, including , movies, concerts, speakers, field trips and workshops. Organizations are as varied as the students that participate: some are affiliated with a specific major or with a special interest within a major, some are service-oriented and still others focus on student interests outside DelVal's programs. All of our clubs and organizations are mentored by one of our dedicated faculty or staff members who take the time to help develope our students into tomorrow's leaders.

DelVal's Student Government Board and the organizations within it, especially the Student Activities Council, the Interclub Council and the InterGreek Council, play the main role in the governance and operation of student activities. Board representatives and officers, elected by the students, fulfill the functions and responsibilities of each organization as detailed in its constitution. All organizations publish this information in the Student Handbook, a copy of which is provided to each registering student.

Check out our Activities Calendar on the Portal page for a list of activites and events each semester.
