Angelo Telatin

A graduate (Laurea) from Padua University (one of the most prestigious universities in Italy) with a final thesis in Horse Behavior, Angelo Telatin joined the faculty at Delaware Valley College in 2003. He holds certifications with the Italian Equestrian Federation and the British Horse Society. In addition, he has a Young Horse Trainer Diploma from the Italian Equestrian Federation. He is an International Instructor in Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping. While training and managing a prestigious equestrian center in Italy, Angelo competed in National and International competitions, receiving several medals in Show Jumping. His students have won many individual and team medals in regional and national competitions. Angelo is a lecturer in the Equine Studies Department and is the Advisor and Coach for the Intercollegiate Dressage Team.
As a believer in lifelong learning, he is successfully training and competing young horses at A-rated competitions and working toward his BHS Fellowship. His passion for Show Jumping is preparing and leading DelVal students to compete at prestigious competitions, including the American Gold Cup and the Devon Horse Show. Since joining DelVal, he has already made significant contributions to internationalize the Equine Studies Program by helping to develop the International World Equestrian Cup with colleges and universities around the globe.
