FINANCIAL AID ASSISTANT – (012612/54000/05) – This full-time position is the first point of contact for students/parents arriving at the Financial Aid office or calling the office. While the position’s duties are support-related in many ways, it is considered a professional counselor position because of the direct counseling component involved. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CENTER FOR STUDENT EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AND CAREER SERVICES –– (121611/53004/53) – This position reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage the Center for Student Experiential Learning and Career Services (CSELCS) by leading strategic planning, program development and evaluation initiatives within the CSELCS. Ensure a comprehensive, developmental experiential learning program by supporting staff in providing learning opportunities and resources through a variety of campus venues. Advance the Center for Student Experiential Learning and Career Services overall through interaction with the CSELCS multiple constituencies. In collaboration with the Deans, Chairs, Faculty Advisors and Faculty create and expand experiential learning and career placement opportunities for each major across all Activities (Study Abroad, Internships/Student Teaching, Career Exploration Experience, Experiential/Service Learning Courses and Undergraduate Research). Mentor, manage and supervise CSELCS staff, including program planning, establishment of professional development goals and performance evaluation. Work collaboratively with Academic Affairs to develop, oversee and report on CSELCS budgets. Provide leadership and direction for the Career Services program within the CSELCS.
Position requires a Master’s Degree in experiential learning, education, career development, business or related discipline. Additional work reinforcing professional growth in the field of experiential learning is also required. DIRECTOR OF STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES – (120911/57000/51) This position will be responsible to direct the Student Health Services as well as assist with coordinating and creating a new Wellness Center that will integrate education and prevention efforts with our medical and mental health services, programs, and activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to overall supervision and evaluation of nurses and other Student Health Center staff; accessing and evaluating student health needs, planning and continually reviewing treatment procedures via the maintaining of daily log and individual student charts; coordinating student visits with visiting physicians at the Student Health Center as well as helping students with off-campus appointments; on-call for emergency medical needs of students that go to local hospitals; organizing, enrolling, and helping with implementing the Student Health Insurance offered through the College; ensuring that all state and federal rules and regulations are followed,; ordering and inventory of medication/vaccinations and other medical supplies as needed by the Student Health Center; coordinating and supervising any work done by outside agencies that are performed for our students in the Student Health Center; triaging all concerns and work of the department as well as faculty and staff medical concerns and referrals; evaluating Workers’ Compensation issues and referrals as necessary; overseeing overall budget for the area; communicating to the student body the services and programs that are available both in the Student Health Center and the newly formed Wellness Center; developing, promoting, and supervising the integrated wellness programs that are available at the new Wellness Center; working closely with others to provide holistic care and educational programs that promote wellness for the college community.
Position requires a BS degree in Nursing and Registered Nurse license plus 5 years nursing experience, preferably in a college setting, and 2-4 years’ experience in holistic health and/or wellness center. Experience running a Wellness Center in an education setting preferred. DAIRY SUPERINTENDENT – (120911/45000/50) This position will be responsible to oversee the operation of the dairy facility and has irregular hours where jobs must be done in a timely manner as required. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring the dairy facility is staffed and operating every day of the year; managing an annual budget as well as the income, expenses, and purchasing of all goods needed for daily operation; supervising the Assistant Superintendent and student employees; managing herd health and production of animals such as daily care, health management, reproduction and genetics management, and production management; maintaining and upgrading facility and related equipment; assisting with academic use of the dairy facility for class work; some laboratory teaching as needed.

ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACCREDITATION, ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, AND RESEARCH – (120111/41012/48) Delaware Valley College, in beautiful Bucks County Pennsylvania, is looking for an Assistant/Associate Vice President for Assessment, Planning and Accreditation. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL AID – (120111/54000/47) Assist the Financial Aid Director in planning and managing operations within the Financial Aid Office to ensure proper financial aid awards are delivered to students in a timely manner, within allocated budgets, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. DIRECTOR OF GROUNDS AND LANDSCAPING – (091411/64001/42) – This is a full time position responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance, management, and appearance of all Delaware Valley College property to include the landscape, grounds, turf, grass, and athletic fields. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ANIMAL SCIENCE – (120110/10004/51) – Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA is searching for an individual to teach courses in livestock production and management, applied animal genetics, and animal husbandry. Experience and course work involving livestock and management of farm animals are major requirements.
This is a full-time, 9 month, tenure track position in the Animal Science Department beginning spring semester 2012 (later start date is negotiable). PART TIME TEACHER CERTIFICATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (TCIP) INSTRUCTORS – (110210/18202/50) - Delaware Valley College is expanding its Teacher Certification Internship Program (TCIP) to Central Pennsylvania at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). The TCIP is an adult cohort program that provides an alternate method to teaching certification as provided by the Pa. Department of Education. The program admits qualified students who already possess a bachelor’s degree in a content area in which the college is permitted to certify (Agriculture, Business/Information Technology, Biology, Chemistry, English, General Science, and Social Studies) to blend their undergraduate degree with 6 undergraduate courses in education.
Duties include but are not limited to classroom teaching and mentoring of adult students with Bachelor's degrees. All courses meet two evenings a week, 6-9PM for a period of 6 weeks. Courses include: American Education, Educational Psychology, Instructional Methods and Assessments, Literacy in the Content Area Classroom, ELL and the Multicultural Classroom, and Differentiated Instruction in the Inclusive Classroom.
