Financial Aid

Delaware Valley College students accepted as matriculated students in one of the graduate programs MAY be eligible for federal aid providing required forms and documents are filed in a timely manner.

The financial aid office is located on the second floor of Lasker Hall with office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional resources can be found on their website and counselors can be contacted at finaid@delval.edu or 215-489-2272.

The following Certification Programs are not eligible for federal loans at this time. 

  • School Administration and Leadership
  • Supervision of Instruction and Curriculum
  • Supervision of Special Education (Pennsylvania only)

Financial Aid Process

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Be sure to indicate the information should be sent to Delaware Valley College, school code  003252.
  • FAFSA information will be reviewed to determine eligibility for federal student loans.
  • Additional forms may be required, including copies of federal tax returns and W-2 forms. The financial aid department will contact you if this information is needed.

Financing Options

  • Federal Direct Student Loans are available to matriculated students enrolled in at least three credits per term. The Direct Student Loan may be subsidized or unsubsidized, depending on demonstration of financial need. Students must file the FAFSA to be considered.
  • For more information and to complete an application for the Direct Student Loan, visit studentloans.gov. Graduate level Direct Loan loan levels are a maximum of $20,500 per year.
  • Private Educational Loans should be accessed after exhausting the Direct Student Loan program. Terms and conditions are determined by the lender through review of the applicant's credit history and market conditions. Student Responsibilities

  • Make sure all forms are filed in a timely manner for Financial Aid review to be completed.
  • Report any changes in enrollment to the financial aid office at finaid@delval.edu.
  • Contact the Bursar's office with questions regarding billing, refunds and/or discrepancies at 215-489-2376 or bursar@delval.edu.
