Dressage Team

The DelVal Dressage Team is a club team open to students of all majors. Placement rides for the Dressage Team are held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters at the Equestrian Center. The team has approximately 40 riders and competes in the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) with several other schools in the region, including Cazenovia College, Centenary College, Cornell University, Penn State University, and Wilson College.

The 2006 - 2007 dressage team earned High Point Team in the region, advancing a team to the National Championships in April, where they finished an impressive third place overall.

The 2007 - 2008 dressage team sent two individual riders to the National Championships, held at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Both riders finished in the top six.

The 2008 - 2009 team won the regional title and finished third place overall in the National Championships hosted by the University of Findlay. 

The 2009 - 2010 team placed seventh at the National Championships hosted by Saint Andrews College.

The 2010-2011 dressage team was second in the nation at the IDA National Championships hosted by the University of Florida!  Additionally, Caroline Fenkel won the First Level Individual Competition at Nationals!

The team is coached by ES faculty members Angelo Telatin and Breann DePietro.
