Equine Studies - Curriculum

The specialized curriculum in Equine Studies emphasizes learning by doing. Elementary ground training, riding, instruction, driving, vaulting, breeding and equine farm management are presented. Balanced with courses in sciences, liberal arts and business, you are exceptionally prepared with a well-rounded education. You have the opportunity to specialize in either Equibusiness or Equine Training while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. A two-year Associate degree in Equine Studies is also available, designed to provide an overview of essential aspects of the equine industry and horse care.

Furthermore, our unique internship and externship program provides opportunities to network within the industry and build an impressive resume prior to graduation.
