Equine Studies - The DelVal Difference
Mission
In alignment with the mission of Delaware Valley College, the Equine Studies Program seeks to produce educated, skilled, responsible and compassionate horsemen/women who are prepared to enter the Equine industry.
Location
Our ideal location in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, is in the heart of beautiful Bucks County. Only 30 miles north of Philadelphia and 70 miles south of New York City, the surrounding farms and open land provide ideal locales for horse shows, polo games and other competitive events.
Opportunities
Our locale provides easy access to some of the best equestrian facilities and activities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including the USET headquarters at Gladstone, Radnor Hunt Club, the Devon showgrounds, Philadelphia Park Racecourse, New Bolton Center, Bucks County Horse Park and more.In support of continuing education and providing student opportunities, the DelVal Equestrian Center has hosted the USDF "L" Judges Program (for the ESCDTA), has been a USPC H-A Testing site and is a BHS Approved Testing facility, as well. We offer BHS Certifications up to International Instructor I.
