Equine Behavior Class
The Equine Behavior Class is an elective avaiable for students at DelVal. In this special course Students explore the human-horse relationship and equine behavior through the study of evolution, sensory physiology, learning processes of the hose, and different training techniques. The goal of this course is to provide students with the principles necessary to develop a relationship between themselves and the horse and create a foundation for further exploration into the complex behaviors of the horse.Students are each assigned a horse to teach a behavior using different approaches to reinforcement with guidence and instruction from Equine Studies Department Chair, Angelo Telatin.
