SIFE offers these students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise, thereby improving the standard of living for millions in the process.
Guided by distinguished faculty advisors and supported by businesses around the globe, SIFE Teams teach important concepts through educational outreach projects, including market economics, entrepreneurship, personal and financial success and business ethics to better themselves, their communities and their countries. Each year, SIFE competitions are held worldwide, drawing together thousands of students and business leaders to pay tribute to these extraordinary educational outreach projects.
Fraud Club
This Delaware Valley College club helps students develop an in-depth understanding of the role of the accounting profession in detecting and predicting fraud. With guest speakers and case studies, the students explore the importance of ethics. Many accounting programs do not cover fraud in undergraduate courses, and our course and club give students an advantage in the marketplace and in areas such as forensic accounting.
Sports Management Club
The sports industry has experienced explosive growth over the past few decades. Sports have had an increasing financial and cultural impact on society.
The Sports Management Club brings speakers in from many different sports industries to discuss the benefits and challenges of a career in sports management. Students have an opportunity to understand internship opportunities and to develop industry contracts and visit sports facilities in the Philadelphia area.
