Larry Stelmach

Lawrence Stelmach is an Associate Professor in the Business Administration Department of Delaware Valley College. He is a tenured faculty member who has taught at the college since 2000. Mr. Stelmach has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology; he is a member of Chi Epsilon Sigma (Chemical Engineering Honor Society). He has a Masters in Business Administration from Lehigh University and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (Business Honor Society).
Prior to coming to Delaware Valley College, Mr. Stelmach worked in industry. He was with Air Products and Chemicals for eleven years. At Air Products he held positions in polymer research, marketing, sales, and business development and planning. Mr. Stelmach was with Fisher Scientific Group for five years where he was a Director of Business Development responsible for acquisitions and strategic planning. At Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Stelmach was Vice President and General Manager of a business unit which manufactured and sold hemostasis diagnostic products. He was with J&J for nine years.
Mr. Stelmach brings a hands-on industry approach into the classroom. He teaches finance, operations, economics, and other related courses. He has been an advisor to SIFE and sponsors an Investment Club at Delaware Valley College. Mr. Stelmach helped to facilitate the Delaware Valley College strategic plan work which began in 2007. He enjoys golf, tennis, writing, and Kumdo (martial arts).
