President, Atlantic Aquatic Engineering, Inc.

Founded in Bucks County, Pa., in 1976, Vincent Pools, Inc. specializes exclusively in the design, construction or renovation of municipal, institutional and commercial swimming pools.  Completed projects from all three of these categories have won national and regional design/construction awards. Responding to frequent requests from design professionals over the years, Atlantic Aquatic Engineering was established in 2003 and offers consultation specific to swimming pools, fountains and water features.

John Bray has been active in his business since 1978 and became a 50 percent shareholder in 1983. In addition to certain administrative duties, Mr. Bray serves as project executive on various projects undertaken by the firm and is the managing principal for Atlantic Aquatic Engineering.

Mr. Bray has been an active member in the local community, having served on the Doylestown Township Capital Fundraising Committee and the Doylestown Township Public Information Board. He has also served two terms as president of the Delaware Valley chapter of the American Subcontractors Association and has twice been awarded Outstanding Member of the Year as well as winning the 1998 national Outstanding Chapter President award.

Mr. Bray chairs the Delaware Valley Construction Industry Collaborative and the Doylestown Township Park & Recreation Board. He is also a director of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Chamber's annual sculpture show.

Mr. Bray received a degree in small business management from Drake University's College of Business and Public Administration. His interest in higher education was renewed as he toured 21 college campuses with his family in search of the best opportunity for his two daughters, aged 15 months apart. Although his daughters have since graduated and are into their careers, Mr. Bray's parent perspective and observations relative to colleges, campus life and the business of higher education remain fresh. Education in general is a daily topic of conversation in the Bray household as his wife is the CFO of a local public school district.
