The Agriculture / Science Career & Internship Fair is a recruiting event for students to network with employers looking to fill full time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities.  Check back for our Fall 2014 date!

Students should bring a professional folder/portfolio with an appropriate number of resumes.  All students are expected to dress in industry appropriate attire. This does not necessarily mean that you are required to wear a business suit, although it is strongly encouraged.

The details of the Agriculture / Science Career & Internship Fair are below:

When - October 23, 2013 -  11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where - Delaware Valley College's Moumgis Auditorium
Opportunity for students to meet with employers about Full-time, Part-time, and Internship positions.

What should I bring?

  • A professional folder/binder with an appropriate number of resumes, e.g. if you plan on talking with 5 companies, bring 10-12 copies to be safe.
  • A pen to write notes.
  • Women can bring a small handbag.
  • Portfolio: this is not necessary, but if you have a professional portfolio that showcases your work, abilities and accomplishments, you may want to bring it (especially certain majors like landscape design, where a sample of your previous work may be required). However, since time is limited for recruiters, always ask first if it is an appropriate time to display your portfolio.

What should I wear?

All students are expected to dress in industry appropriate attire. This does not necessarily mean that you are required to wear a business suit, although it is strongly encouraged. However, jeans, tee shirts and sweatshirts with logos are not acceptable attire.
