Military and Veterans Open House and Fall Fest

Delaware Valley College is hosting a Military and Veterans Open House Sunday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Moumgis Auditorium (located in the Student Center). Guests will have a chance to learn about academic degree and certificate program options, full and part time study options and education benefits for military veterans and their families. Learn more about what DelVal offers especially for active-duty military and veterans, including: Military Scholars for America, the Yellow Ribbon Program, the Janet Manion Military and Veterans Center, a seamless transfer process and an on-site certifying officer.

DelVal’s Horticultural Society, a student organization, is hosting a Fall Fest Sunday, Nov. 16 from 12 to 4 p.m. on the quad on DelVal’s main campus in Doylestown. The event is open to the current students, alumni and the general public. Participants in the Open House are encouraged to stop by and participate in some of the family-friendly activities. It is student planned and run with many other clubs and Greeks on campus working with the Horticultural Society to put on a festival for prospective students and the general public. There will be fall-related activities including: apple tossing, pumpkin bowling and pumpkin smashing. There is no charge for admission. Come out and join the students for a fun day and learn about the student organizations at DelVal!

Fall Fest
Sunday, Nov. 16, noon to 4 p.m. on the campus quad
Tickets are not required; admission to the event is at no cost. Participants do not need to sign up in advance and the event is open to the general public. There will be a raffle, games, apple cider for purchase and free activities.
