DelVal students to offer presentations on animals

Delaware Valley College students are offering presentations about animals throughout the month of March at Lake Nockamixon, The Doylestown Library and Honey Hollow. There is no cost to attend and the presentations are open to the public. Students from DelVal’s Animals in the Public Eye course will be bringing live animals to the presentations and educating guests about 18 different animals.

Presentation Schedule:

March 18
Live Reptile Show, Lake Nockamixon Education Center
Students from Delaware Valley College’s Animals in the Public Eye course will be bringing live reptiles to the Education Center. Come by between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to see, learn about and touch these amazing animals. There is no cost to attend and advanced registration is not required. Lake Nockamixon is located at 1542 Mountain View Dr., Quakertown, PA 18951-5732. To reach the Education Center, please enter through the Marina entrance (Harrisburg School Road) off of Route 563. Go to the stop sign and turn right. Park in the first lot on your left, Lot 12. Follow the marked trail to the Education Center. Bring a flashlight.

March 23
Traveling Animal Program, Doylestown Free Library
Join us from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Doylestown Free Library for the Traveling Animal Program. DelVal students will fascinate you with interesting, educational and fun facts about animals. There is no cost to attend and the event is open to the public. Advanced registration is not required. The Doylestown Library is located at 150 S Pine St, Doylestown, PA 18901.

March 25
Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow
Join us from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow for the Traveling Animal Program. DelVal students will fascinate you with interesting, educational and fun facts about our educational animals. There is no cost to attend and the event is open to the public. Honey Hollow Environmental Center is located at 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA 18938.
