DelVal SIFE Team Competes in Orlando

Delaware Valley College's Student In Free Enterprise (SIFE) will head to Orlando, Florida to compete in the Regional SIFE Competition on April 7, 2008. Advising this year's team are Professor Gary Flower, Business Administration Chair, and Professor Ermira Gegvata and Professor Lawrence Stelmach, Associate Professors of Business Administration.

Delaware Valley College's SIFE team joins schools from Idaho, Missouri, Florida, Loisiana and Georgia in the competition. Teams will be judged on their understanding of a market economic system, management skills necessary to achieve financial independence, business ethics and their implimentation of a successful long-term strategy and sustainability of DelVal SIFE's team and educational program.

SIFE is a global, non-profit organization that is literally changing the world through highly-dedicated student teams on more than 1500 university campuses in 37 countries. SIFE offers these students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise, thereby improving the standard of living for millions in the process.
