DelVal announces spring 2017 concerts

Delaware Valley University is pleased to announce the spring 2017 concert schedule, which includes performances by the University's Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Chorale, String Ensemble and a special premiere performance by the Saxophone Quartet. All events will be held in the Life Sciences Building auditorium. DelVal concerts are open to public at no cost and guests do not need to register in advance. The family-friendly events will offer a diverse selection of songs from a variety of genres. 
 

Spring 2017 Concert Schedule:

Saturday, Feb. 25
DelVal Symphonic Band and Jazz Band Concert, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Life Sciences Building auditorium

The Delaware Valley University Symphonic Band and Jazz Band will present a special concert. The program will include dynamic contemporary works by composers including: Steven Bryant, Robert Sheldon, Steven Reineke and Sean O’Loughlin along with music by the English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. The second half of the concert will feature a performance by the acclaimed Delaware Valley University Jazz Band.

Saturday, April 8
DelVal Chorale, Jazz Band and String Ensemble Spring Concert, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Life Sciences Building auditorium

Join us for a performance by the University’s outstanding Chorale and Jazz Band, along with the DelVal String Ensemble. Enjoy a dazzling array of classics, traditional spirituals, contemporary favorites and hot jazz. 

Saturday, April 29
DelVal Symphonic Band, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Life Sciences Building auditorium

Join us  for the final concert of the academic year, as the Delaware Valley University Symphonic Band performs music from around the world. Enjoy the diverse music of Cuba, Japan, Ireland, and the American heartland as well as popular Disney classics. The concert will feature a special premiere performance by the Delaware Valley Saxophone Quartet. 
 

Attend a Concert: The Delaware Valley University spring 2017 concerts are open to the public at no cost. Guests do not need to register in advance to attend.
