Delaware Valley University recognizes faculty for excellence

Delaware Valley University is pleased to announce the following faculty members were promoted and/or granted tenure:

Department of Animal Biotechnology and Conservation
Dr. Alicia Shenko was promoted from lecturer to assistant professor.

Department of Biology
Kimberly Johnston was promoted from lecturer to instructor.
Dr. Cynthia Keler was promoted from associate professor to professor.

Department of Chemistry
Dr. Melissa Langston earned tenure and was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor. 
Dr. Yun Li was promoted from associate professor to professor.

Department of English
Dr. Ron DePeter earned tenure.
Brian Lutz was promoted from instructor to assistant professor.
Dr. Wilbert Turner earned tenure and was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor.

Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Sciences
Michael Fleischacker was promoted from assistant professor to associate professor.

Department of Mathematics and Physics
Dr. Imad Benjelloun was promoted from associate professor to professor.
Dr. Ruth Trubnik was promoted from associate professor to professor.

“These tenure and promotion decisions recognize faculty members for excellence in teaching and scholarship and their exemplary service to the DelVal community,” said Dr. Bashar W. Hanna, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty. "DelVal is proud to be a university where students receive one-on-one support from faculty. Our faculty know our students by name and take the time to serve as both professors and mentors for DelVal students. I am grateful to all of our faculty members who go out of their way to help students every day."
