DelVal appoints director of its new Roth Center for Sustainable Agriculture
December 17—DelVal alumnus Kristin Hulshart has been appointed as the new director of DelVal’s Roth Center for Sustainable Agriculture.

December 6—The Penn State Cooperative Extension Nursery Landscape Conference committee will host their annual Nursery Landscape Conference at DelVal.
December 4—They will educate the public, encourage youth to go into agriculture, and highlight how agriculture will help solve global problems.
November 9—On Nov. 7, the College held a luncheon to honor this year’s 34 scholarship recipients and thank the trust for its generosity.

October 11—DelVal sophomore Melissa Long was one of four Pennsylvania 4-H and FFA students who were awarded scholarships from the Pennsylvania Livestock Association during the 56th Keystone International Livestock Exposition Opening Ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.

July 3—The Center will anchor the College’s new specialization in sustainable agriculture systems and support research, partnerships and community education.
June 5—As part of the grant, four DelVal students were hired to help Professor of Agronomy and Environmental Sciences Larry Hepner with the project.
April 30—Students in DelVal's Natural Resources and Biosystems Management department will be able to specialize in Sustainable Agriculture Systems starting in fall 2012.
