Research Opportunities are available within the Horticulture curriculum. You may earn up to two academic credits for conducting an optional independent research study under the direction of a faculty adviser. This is an opportunity to explore an area in which you are interested, design an experiment, and analyze the results. In the past there have been independent research studies in hydroponics, plant tissue culture, and plant pathology.

In addition, world renowned biotechnology scientists from the Drexel University Center, located on the Delaware Valley College campus, have courtesy appointments in the Horticulture Department. This can provide internship and employment opportunities in addition to those available in the Horticulture Department.
