The Farm Show is
a marvelous showcase for Pennsylvania agriculture. Over the
years, this event has become one of the most celebrated in
the country, attracting more than 400,000 spectators, offering
residents and visitors alike an opportunity to experience
the impact agriculture has on the commonwealth.
This year’s theme is Growing Pennsylvania Agriculture
to Feed and Fuel Our Future. Pennsylvania is helping lead
the nation toward alternative forms of energy, and our farmers
are playing a major role. At this year’s Farm Show,
we will highlight our alternative energy accomplishments and
explore how agriculture can help fuel the future of Pennsylvania
and the nation.
The 2007 Farm Show will take place Jan. 6-13 and will host
some 10,000 animals, 8,000 competitive exhibits and 270 commercial
exhibitors. In addition, more than $440,000 in prize money
will be offered to exhibitors.
This premium list offers a preview of the exhibits that will
be on display. From livestock shows to educational displays,
the participants at the Farm Show help to keep Pennsylvania
growing.
We hope to see you at the 91st Pennsylvania Farm Show!
