Happy Holidays from Delaware Valley College!
Final exams are over, the students have gone home, and the lingering snow makes campus eerily quiet. As 2013 draws to a close, DelVal faculty and staff extend warm wishes to every alumnus for a happy and healthy holiday.

Connect with DelVal!
Life Sciences Building
It's so close to completion, we can already catch a whiff of that new classroom smell! The building includes state-of-the-art lab and GIS equipment, a 450-seat auditorium, and an emergency backup generator to protect lab work and experiments in case of power loss. Come to the concert on March 1st to check it out!
Energy in Transition is focus of 2014 Precarious Alliance
Every other year, DelVal gathers academics, scientific researchers, and practitioners to discuss a pressing issue. Food Systems launched the symposium in 2010, and The Ethics of Water was on tap in 2012. This spring we'll talk about Energy in Transition, and we're inviting practitioners and experts to submit proposals by January 14, in order to be considered as a presenter or panelist in April. Details at www.precariousalliance.org. Follow @EnergyInTrans on Twitter or find The Precarious Alliance on Facebook!
Save the Date: Spring Career Day
This past fall, seventeen alumni were among the company representatives at the Ag and Science Career Fair. The next Career Day is Wednesday, March 26, 2014 and is open to all industries, so please save the date and represent your workplace!
Keeping it in the Family
We're looking for multiple generations of DelVal alumni who would like to share their impressions of DelVal with us for Facebook. If you attended DelVal and also have a parent, child, grandparent or grandchild who attended DelVal, let us know! We'll send you a very short online survey that takes less than 5 minutes. Thanks!
Standing ovations for our alumni speakers

Steve Hykes '92 and his son Nathan Hykes '16, Jennifer Reed-Harry '92, Justin Risser '06, Jeff Bloom '71, and Kristin Hulshart '09 contributed their expertise.
