Corey Ciocchetti, associate professor of business ethics and legal studies at the University of Denver and a motivational speaker, has been selected to speak at Delaware Valley College’s 2014 commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m.
One of UD’s most popular and highest-rated professors, Ciocchetti was the perfect choice for this year’s commencement speaker. “It didn't take long to decide who the senior class officers wanted as their commencement speaker,” said Bailey Young ’14, senior class president.
“Corey Ciocchetti is passionate about authentic success, something that I believe DelVal takes pride in developing into each of its students. I look forward to hearing him at commencement, to hear how we can continue and achieve our own authentic success.”
Ciocchetti received a law degree from Duke University School of Law, a master’s degree in religious studies and two bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics from the University of Denver.
“Professor Ciocchetti is a talented teacher and speaker, whose messages of solid character fits together with the College’s core values,” said College President Dr. Joseph S. Brosnan. “I’m looking forward to him sharing these important points with our graduating class.”
Ciochetti has won multiple teaching and speaking awards including the Outstanding Professor of the Year Award by the University of Denver Alumni Association and the Joel Goldman Award for most respected speaker on the CAMPUSPEAK roster. He currently teaches classes on business law and ethics in a department ranked by the Wall Street Journal and Business Week in the top ten nationwide for producing students with high ethical standards.
