What made you want to be involved on campus?
I wanted to make the most out of my college experience. College is about discovering yourself and by becoming involved; one can learn new things and meet new people. Overall, I wanted to be a part of the Delaware Valley College community.
Has being involved on campus helped you become a successful student?
By becoming involved on campus, I have allowed myself to grow as a student and as an athlete. I have met lifelong friends and gained knowledge about myself and my major. This knowledge has guided me through college both academically and personally.
What do you love about being a student at DelVal?
Being a transfer student has allowed me to appreciate what DelVal has to offer. I love the hands on-learning experience that the college promotes. The opportunities I received at Delaware Valley College would have most likely not been possible at another institution.
Is there any advice would you give to prospective transfer students and incoming transfer students?
Getting involved on campus may be the best advice I could give to another transfer student. My time as a transfer student made me aware that the more effort one puts into their academics and school involvement, the grater the reward. At DelVal, student involvement is important and there is an extracurricular activity for everyone.
