Each student's academic background, motivation, and ambitions are carefully considered to determine his or her potential for success at DelVal. Applications for admission, sent to the Delaware Valley College Office of Admissions, should include the following:

  • a completed application form and a non-refundable check or money order for $35.00, made payable to Delaware Valley College
  • a high school (and, if applicable, college) transcript including grades and class standing
  • a reference form to be completed by a guidance counselor
  • SAT or ACT scores. Delaware Valley College's code numbers are SAT-2510 and ACT-3551
  • A personal interview with a DelVal admissions counselor is highly recommended for all applicants. Arrangements may be made with the Admissions Office by phone or letter (phone 215-489-2211, or 1-800-2-DELVAL).

Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis, continuing until full enrollment is reached. Early applications are encouraged. Within thirty days after fulfillment of all requirements as stated above, the Admissions Committee will evaluate applicant credentials and will inform the applicant of its decision.

Transfer Students and Nontraditional Applicants:
Send the application agreement statement to the admissions office at Delaware Valley College. Please authorize your high school and colleges to send official transcripts directly to the admissions office. Part-time and non-traditional adult students (part-time day, evening and weekend study) should contact the Continuing Education Office (215- 489-4848) to obtain an application. The on-line application is designed for full-time day students.
