Grant Writing: Preparing Your First Proposal—Online!
An introduction to the basic skills, principles, and techniques of successful grant writing. Utilizing the skills taught and resources offered throughout the course, you will craft a competitive grant proposal ready to be submitted to the funder of your choice.
You will:
• Prepare a grant proposal to include: summary, background, statement of need, goals and objectives, project design and methods, sustainability, assessment, community impact, budget, budget justification, and cover letter.
• Locate available funding opportunities, with special emphasis on locally available and free resources.
• Develop the skills needed to develop competitive grant proposals on their own.
• Prepare a complete grant proposal for your project/funder of choice.
