Digital Photography Academy (ages 14-16, Aug. 7-11)
Professional shooting techniques combined with hands-on instruction show your teen how to use a DSLR camera to take world-class photographs. Discover the power of Adobe® Lightroom® and Photoshop®, and learn how to consistently produce superior-quality images, as well as how to easily fix image issues. Students are required to bring their own DSLR camera for this camp. However photography experience is not needed for this beginner-to-intermediate level class.

About the Instructor
David Gardiner is a Lambertville, NJ based photographer. He is a staff photographer for the New York Road Runners, and shoots for PR and commercial clients. His work has appeared in multiple world wide advertising campaigns, catalogs and magazines, most notably for Tag Heuer, NYU, LIU and Shape Magazine.
As well as being a talented photographer, David is also a professional photo retoucher. David has retouched for many prominent New York City photographers, magazines and e-commerce sites, with a client list including BMW, Fila, Soho House and Downtown Magazine. During the summer, David teaches advanced photography at the prestigious School of Creative and Performing Arts where he helps young photographers in developing a body of work that is cohesive in concept and aesthetic style. David received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a focus in photography from Global College at Long Island University where he studied in different cities around the world.
