Delaware Valley University is your university of choice, offering degree-completion cohort programs on site at the Marple Campus to associate degree graduates! Students complete their bachelor’s degree through eight consecutive terms of part-time study. Our Tuesday and Thursday evening class schedule allows you to work while attending class.
At DelVal we offer:
- Business Administration (B.S.)
- Counseling Psychology (B.A.)
- Criminal Justice (B.S.)
- Media and Communication (B.A.)
The DelVal degree completion program at Delaware County Community College allows graduates from select A.A. and A.S. degrees to complete their B.A. and B.S. degrees on Delaware County Community College’s Marple Campus. DelVal degree completion programs are aligned with associate degrees in similar disciplines:
- A.S. Business Administration transfers into B.S. in Business Administration
- A.A. Administration of Justice transfers into B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration
- A.S. Psychology/A.S. Sociology/A.S. Social Work transfer into B.A. in Counseling Psychology
- A.A. Communications Arts/Journalism transfers into B.A. in Media and Communication
Associate degree graduates who wish to enter the degree completion program, who do not have the aligned associate degree, may need to take additional courses to qualify.
Our degree-completion program offers four distinct advantages:
- Core-to-Core Articulation
Delaware County Community College’s core curriculum transfers into DelVal’s core curriculum eliminating the need for you to take extra courses.
- Generous Transfer Policy
Only 48 DelVal credits required; additional electives beyond your associate degree are transferrable
Reduced tuition ($425 per credit) and tuition lock if you are continually enrolled; No application or course fees. Our six-credit per term schedule meets the financial aid requirement for part-time study.
