CH 2003 - Principles of Organic Chemistry

This course surveys both aliphatic and aromatic classes of compounds with their traditional subclasses. Basic reaction mechanisms are introduced and special topics, such as fats and oils, detergents, carbohydrates, proteins, heterocyclic compounds, vitamins, and hormones are covered briefly.

Prerequisite: General Chemistry I and II
