After graduation I will be working at Fenway Park. I received this job opportunity when the Head Groundskeeper at Fenway Park read a recommendation letter from the stadium turf manager for the San Diego Chargers.   This letter caught the eye of the company causing them to call me one morning and offer me a position for the 2011 season.

A quote about DVC is: "DVC is always looking to improve the educational quality of its programs for the students." I have experienced this first hand because recently I have been working along with the Dean of Agriculture, Russell Redding, on encouraging the school to establish a position for an athletic field manager.  I hope this position will be approved because it would open several doors for the students in the turf management program.
