A quote I have learned while going here is, “Most students dream... DelVal Students Do.”

Upon entering Del Val I formed a strategic plan outlining the following: how I would attempt to graduate in 3 years, form my own professional network, and most importantly obtain employment before graduation. After three years of 20+ credit hours per semester, a private accounting internship, two public accounting internships and numerous networking events, I have achieved my goal.  I will be starting at LarsonAllen, a top 20 public accounting firm, as an associate accountant working in the non-profit and government group.  The firm is composed of over 1,800 employees including 325 principals with 30 locations nationwide.

Much of my success is due to the outstanding business faculty especially professors’ Liz Kolar and Mira Gegvata who emphasized the value of experiential learning throughout my academic career. My family, who has legacy at DelVal, is sure to be continued into future generations due to the excellence that the college strives to make at every turn.
