My next step after graduation is to start full time at Blommer Chocolate Company in East Greenville, PA.  Last summer I had an internship there in Research and Development, and I will continue in this field as a Product Development Technologist.

I was first introduced to Blommer Chocolate Company  while taking a tour with one of my food science classes and I started to build a relationship with them right after that. They had never had an intern before, but wanted to start up a program. I was interviewed and luckily got the position.  I've continued to work there during the fall and spring semester, two days a week, and still managed a full course load and being an RA. They offered me a full time position and I accepted!

Delaware Valley College has taught me more about the food industry than I would have expected. I felt completely prepared to start working in the industry due to the hands-on experience I received, and the dedicated faculty who worked closely with me. Because of this, I was able to secure full time employment long before I graduated! If I could do it all over again, I would not change a single thing about my college experience here.
