There are many things to consider doing in your spare time as a college student. College is a place where people come together to put forth their efforts to become something more in life by furthering their education. But, there are moments where you need a break from all the hype to do what you want to do. Here are a couple ways you can have fun throughout the day and still get work done.

  1. Every night try to look at your schedule and see what you have planned for tomorrow. The areas in between classes is where you should look to fill in with either a nap or an activity. The morning should usually consist of getting a bite to eat; yes, breakfast! Breakfast being the most important meal of the day. This will give you the energy to stay up and get prepared for your day. The first break of the day should probably be the time you take to enjoy your free time and play a game or go over to another friend’s room.

  2. The middle of the day is the hardest part of the day. You are half tired from everything going on in school. To stay energized, it is best to take a half hour to full hour nap. As you wake up, you should prep for your last part of your day by grabbing something to eat and then, heading back to your dorm to kill time. You can kill a little time by watching a rented movie or Netflix with a friend or roommate. Or, get some extra homework out of the way.

  3. After your last class of the day, if you do not have any extracurricular activities to partake in, you should you should try to make an effort to engage with something going on around campus such as game nights or even just hanging with friends. To end the day and get prepared for the next, you should get dinner and review your schedule again for the next day. Then, it would probably be a good idea to get some sleep.
