Aggies host the Delaware Valley College Invitational

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Freshman Sara Brown's third-place finish highlighted Delaware Valley College's showing at its own invitational. The women placed eighth out of 11 teams while the Aggie men did not have enough runners to finish in the team standings.

Brown ran the race in 27 minutes, 24 seconds to trail only Joy Aifuwa of the University of Sciences (27:15) and Carolyn Roberts of Cabrini College (27:23). Kaitlin Larsen was 27th with a time of 28 minutes, 37 seconds while Jennifer Del Polito (43rd - 29:38), Rachel Federico (47th -30:01) and Katie Lemoncelli (49th - 30:05) each placed in the top 50 for Delaware Valley.

Freshman Kevin Weber paced the Aggie men as his time of 31 minutes, 3 seconds placed 20th at the event. Fellow rookie Daniel Fenstermacher was 32nd (32:21) while freshmen Joshua Means (35:42) and Christian Yaffar (44:29) placed 65th and 97th respectively.
