Aggies Compete At Alvernia

READING (PA) - The Delaware Valley College women's cross country went a perfect 2-0 in head-to-head meets while the men were non-counters at a tri-meet at Alvernia College

The women (2-0) posted a 26-29 victory over Penn State-Berks and added a 21-34 victory over Alvernia..

Freshmen Sara Brown and Jen Del Polito took the first two spots out of 23 runners. Brown notched a time of 22 minutes, 38 seconds while Del Polito was just seven seconds behind. Jen Rachel Federioco (25:32) and Jen Houghton (26:42) completed the scoring by placing 10th and 11th respectively.

On the men's side, Delaware Valley's runners all placed in the top six out of 22 runners. Kevin Weber took third with a time of 29 minutes, 52 seconds. Josh Means was fifth with a time of 30 minutes, 58 seconds while Daniel Fenstermacher was sixth with a time of 31 minutes, 17 seconds.
