Aggies Compete At MAC Championships

HUNTINGDON (PA) - The Delaware Valley College cross country teams competed at the 2005 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships hosted by Juniata College. The women finished 14th out of 14 teams while the men did not have runners to finish in the team standings.

On the women's side, Sara Brown was the top Aggie finisher as she took 65th out of 138 runners with a time of 27 minutes, 19.10 seconds. Jennifer Del Polito was 70th with a time of 27 minutes, 35.86 seconds while Jennifer Houghton (102nd - 29:35.74), Melissa McKenna (124th - 31:48.91) and Courtney Stern (130th - 33:39.45) rounded out the Delaware Valley roster.

Kevin Weber and the Daniel Fenstermacher were the lone Aggie runners at the championships. Weber crossed the finish line in 91st place with a time of 30 minutes, 38.93 seconds. Fenstermacher was 110th in the field of 134 with a time of 32 minutes, 23.16 seconds.

Messiah College won the women's championship was Elizabethtown College took the men's title.
