MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY - Aggies Compete At Wilmington College Invitational


WILMINGTON (DE) - The Delaware Valley College women's cross country finished in second place to highlight the Aggies' performance at the Wilmington College Invitational.

The women scored 66 points in the five-team field. They trailed only Lebanon Valley (20) while besting Goldey Beacom (84), Arcadia (89) and Wilmington (86).

Marianne Petrino and Mary Wheatley placed fifth and seventh in the race with times of 23:52 and 24:40 respectively. Jen Dilworth took 16th (27:07) while Breann DePietro (18th - 27:32) and Amy McLean (21st - 29:12) rounded out the scoring.

On the men's side, Delaware Valley finished fourth out of four teams with a score of 102. Goldey Beacom registered 29 points followed by Lebanon Valley (34) and Wilmington (75).

Ryan Shank was the top Aggie finished as his time of 34:33 placed 15th. Kyle Wheeler took 19th (37:34) with Mark Schmidt (28th - 38:37), Andrew Gardner (30th - 40:41) and Brian Forsyte (33rd - 46:05) rounding out the scoring.
