MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY - Aggies Place 6th At DVC Invitational

DOYLESTOWN (PA) - Delaware Valley College hosted a cross country invitational on Saturday and the Aggie women placed third while the men placed sixth out of the nine complete teams.

The women scored 92 points to trail only Albright (71) and Gwynedd-Mercy (87). Juniors Mary Wheatley and Marianne Petrino paced the Aggies by finished fifth (22:21.74) and 11th (22:46.95) respectively. Breann DePietro (25th - 24:24.77), Jenn Dilworth (28th - 24:47.58) and Elizabeth Foreman (36th - 25:54.49) rounded out the scorers for Delaware Valley.

On the men's side, Delaware Valley registered 161 points while Nyack College won the team title with 48 points. Ryan Shank paced the Aggies by placing eighth (25:58.60). Mark Schmidt was 31st with a time of 28:53.39 while Kyle Wheeler (35th - 29:19.11), Andrew Gardner (42nd - 30:18.36) and Brian Forsyte (45th - 35:45.90) rounded out the Delaware Valley runners.
