CROSS COUNTRY - Aggies Compete At Elizabethtown College Invitational


LANCASTER (PA) - The Delaware Valley College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2002 Elizabethtown College Invitational on Saturday. The women finished 10th out of 10 teams while the men did not have enough runners to score as a team.

Sophomore Mary Wheatley paced the Aggie women by placing 75th out 131 runners with a time of 28:10. Fellow sophomore Marianne Petrino (28:31) also finished in the top 100 as her time of 28:31 placed her 84th.

On the men's side, senior Andy Hannah topped all Aggie runners as he took 63rd out of 104 competitors with a time of 32:48. Nick Fritz followed with a time of 33:51 and a 72nd-place finish.
