CROSS CONTRY: Aggie Men And Women Compete At DeSales Invitational

CENTER VALLEY (PA) - The Delaware Valley men's and women's cross country teams competed at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday. Neither squad had enough competitors to register in the team standings.

The Aggies had three men run in the field of 275. Senior Nick Fritz was the team's top finisher as his time of 30:55.15 was good enough for 180th place. Freshman Andrew Gardner was 221st with a time 32:35.06 and fellow rookie Mark Schmidt was 245th with a time of 36:12.34.

On the women's side, Delaware Valley had three runners in the field of 278. Sophomore Marianne Petrino had the best finish as she placed 176th with a time of 23:26.46. Senior Erin Baker was 207th with a time of 24:18.20 while freshman Amy McLean was 254th with a time of 27:23.30.
